$ETH

Ethereum had an eventful day, full of ups, downs, and one sharp shock.

Price started the session climbing steadily, moving up in a clean uptrend from around 1,920 all the way to a high of 1,981.00. That move looked strong and controlled, buyers pushing higher step by step without much resistance.

After hitting that peak, ETH started fading, slipping into a choppy pullback. It bounced around for a while, unable to hold the highs, slowly grinding lower with a mix of small green and red candles. That kind of sideways chop after a strong rally usually means the market is pausing to catch its breath.

Then came the sharp part. Price spiked briefly, almost testing new highs again, but got rejected hard and dropped fast, falling all the way down to 1,919.16 in one aggressive red candle. That was a fast, heavy sell-off, the kind that shakes out a lot of positions in a short time.

Since then, ETH has been trying to stabilize, trading in a tighter range and slowly recovering. Right now it sits at 1,931.18, up a modest 0.95% for the day.

Zooming out, the bigger picture is mixed. ETH is up nicely over 7 and 30 days, but still deeply negative over 90 days, 180 days, and the past year. So today's move is really just short-term noise inside a much bigger longer-term downtrend.
