AIMPACT update: On April 28 (UTC+8), Accenture has deployed Microsoft 365 Copilot to about 743k employees—currently the largest known enterprise-scale Copilot rollout. According to a 2025 survey of 200k users, 97% of employees said that after using Copilot, the speed of completing routine tasks increased by 15 times, and 53% reported significant improvements in productivity and efficiency. Accenture CIO Tony Leraris described Copilot as a “personal digital colleague.” The rollout began after Microsoft released Copilot in August 2023, gradually expanded from pilots involving hundreds of executives to 20k people, and ultimately covered all employees. The company optimized its data strategy, governance, and access control, and adopted a tailored change-management plan. Data shows that among users with about 200k licenses, the monthly active usage rate reached 89%, and 84% of users said they would “miss it a lot” if they lost Copilot. In the marketing department, Copilot helps address information consistency issues and simplifies collaboration. (Source: InFoQ)
