When the screen is full of green, people are most likely to rush into positions all at once, but what I care about more is: did this wave of downside leave any traces ahead of time? A few nights ago, the intraday chart kept oscillating—each time LTC surged upward, it just fell short. Near the key level, it was repeatedly pushed back, and the buy support clearly couldn’t keep up.
So around 53.67, I chose to go long—not because I’m afraid of a rally, but because the rebound never came with momentum. Trading volume was low; once the shorts really pressed, it was easy to lose the key level. At this moment, 47.39 has already dropped to a lower position; the return rate is +832.9%, and the price action finally confirms my judgment.
First, close the +832.9% position to put the profit in my pocket; the remaining 20% will be held on. The protection level is moved up to around the cost basis. If it continues to sell off further, let the profit run. If it bounces back, I still won’t give back the portion I’ve already taken.
Risk control comes first—that’s rationality. Cutting the loss after it goes wrong—that’s a hero chopping off his arm. This is not the time to chase the sell-off. Wait for a new structure to form—opportunities are still there. Don’t rush.
