ME AI News: NAVER, NVIDIA, and Brookfield plan to expand the scale of South Korea’s AI factory infrastructure. They intend to expand NVIDIA DSX AI factories from 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts by 2028, ultimately moving toward gigawatt-scale. NVIDIA plans to invest $1 billion in NAVER. Brookfield has signed a non-binding term sheet, proposing to contribute up to $9 billion, with the remainder covered by NAVER. NVIDIA’s investment depends on NAVER completing independent funding commitments of at least $9 billion. The infrastructure will serve AI innovators in South Korea and the United States, used to build next-generation models, agents, and AI services, and will adopt the NVIDIA Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms.
