Trading Tips|Understand Fibonacci’s Practical Trading Logic

Many people draw Fibonacci but still frequently fall into traps. The core problem is that they only know how to draw lines mechanically, but don’t understand the resonance logic.

✅Two Core Ways to Use It

1. Fibonacci Retracement (Find Support/Resistance)
Uptrend swing: draw the line from the low to the high; the key focus is on the three levels 0.382, 0.5, and 0.618.
In strong long pullbacks, they often stall at 0.382–0.5; 0.618 is the final defense level for bulls. If it breaks, the trend’s momentum weakens.
For a downtrend swing, draw it in reverse.

2. Fibonacci Extension (Project Take-Profit Targets)
A three-leg A-B-C market structure. Use the extension tool to anticipate the next wave’s endpoint. 1.618 is the most common practical target level.

🔥Advanced Winning Combination (Adapt to Your OB/FVG System)
Single Fibonacci levels have limited value. Multi-factor resonance is the best cost-performance entry point:
When the pullback price level simultaneously aligns with “Fibonacci key levels + bullish OB order block + FVG gap,” that is the optimal low-long zone;
When the rebound faces resistance that overlaps “0.618 + bearish supply OB,” the shorting win rate increases significantly.

⚠️Key Points to Avoid Traps

1. Use it only within clear trend BOS structure; in messy ranging/sideways markets, use Fibonacci sparingly;

2. After price reaches the level, always wait for small-timeframe confirmation of bottoming out / stalling; no guessing tops or bottoms directly;

3. Keep a fixed drawing standard—don’t repeatedly change the high/low points, or the levels will get mixed up.

📌Minimalist Execution Steps
Set the main range on 4H → draw Fibonacci key levels → check whether they resonate with supply/demand structure → switch to a smaller timeframe to find precise entry signals, and strictly execute with stop-loss. #夏日创作营
