US To Impose 10 To 12.5 Percent Tariffs On 60 Economies Full Guide For Gate Users

US will start new tariffs of 10 percent and 12.5 percent on goods from 60 economies from July 24 at 12:01 am Eastern. Move covers 99.4 percent of all US imports and replaces temp 10 percent global levy that ends now. Case was run under Section 301 of 1974 Trade Act after probe into forced labor import bans. USTR said all 60 failed to impose and enforce ban in a way that is reasonable. Result is broad duty.

Rate split is simple.

10 percent if economy has or pledges forced labor import ban.

12.5 percent if not.

Both rates add on top of existing most favored duties for many partners, but few partners get non stacking per deal made in 2025.

Who is on list. List counts EU as one, plus major Asian economies, plus many more across Asia, Europe and other zones. South Korea sees 12.5 percent in reports. EU, China, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Bangladesh also on list. In total 60.

Timeline.

March USTR opens 301 probe.

June 2 USTR finds failure for all 60.
