In an official post, the team said that after careful consideration, it has decided to gradually shut down the Forma chain because continuing to operate the chain is no longer sustainable. Modularium and Forma NFTs will be migrated to Ethereum L1. After the migration, the NFTs will still exist and remain accessible, and they can be traded on OpenSea or other Ethereum-based marketplaces. Forma also advises users to withdraw funds via the Forma Bridge; any unwithdrawn funds will be manually transferred to the later announced EVM-compatible chain.
