Why do so many people love to play crypto?

Because you can get rich overnight.
Making $500 a day is already the ceiling for many people. $15,000 a month—after taxes, you take home over $12,000. In a year, that’s from $150,000 to $200k. That’s the rhythm for most people.
But in the crypto world, the simplest “buy and hold”—with $10,000 in principal—could turn into $480k in one bull cycle. This really happened. Ethereum in March 2020 jumped from $88 to $4,800 by November 2021, a 48x increase. If you put in $100k instead? That becomes $4.8 million. You’d have to work for 24 years, and even then you’re not eating or drinking—no, even with an annual salary of $200k.
You graduate from college at 23, and by the time you’ve saved $4.8 million, you’re already 47. Almost old.
But in crypto, you only need to invest $100k in a bull market, and waiting a little over a year is enough.
Is this temptation really that big?
A 48x return isn’t even that crazy. In the 2021 bull market, Dogecoin, “shitcoins,” Solana—returns of dozens, hundreds, even thousands of times were commonplace. And then there are derivatives: 100x leverage, where $1,000 a day can earn you over $200k.
Compared with working a job, the money comes too good to be true.
So so many people rush in like they’re going crazy.
But in the end, most of them become bloody little “greens.”
Crypto is easy to make money, but it’s not that easy to actually make money for you. Those who post screenshots won’t tell you how many times they got liquidated. You only see them eating meat—you don’t see them getting beaten.
So my advice is: don’t go too hard. Stay stable, learn more, and wait for opportunities like a hunter.
Keep yourself a way out—first learn how to survive. Real people who can make money don’t rely on being reckless; they rely on being steady.
I won’t lead anyone into liquidation, and I won’t place trades blindly.
Winning by staying steady is the way to live long.

Hoarding coins is definitely tempting, but most people end up failing chasing the highs and on contracts. You still have to wait patiently for opportunities like a hunter—I believe in the path of steady wins.

So true—everyone has dreams of striking it rich, but staying steady is the key to still being here. A brutal lesson paid for in the blood and tears of retail investors.
