Deep Tide TechFlow news. On July 26, Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, posted on X saying that Ethereum is expected to become the most widely used settlement layer for finance and AI agents, adding that “ETH is on-chain money.”
In addition, in an interview he reposted, Tom Lee also addressed the market view that Ethereum is being “eroded” by Layer2. He said he does not agree, noting that while Layer2 networks also attract tens of millions of real-world users into the on-chain ecosystem, Ethereum’s mainnet is further solidifying its position as the primary economic settlement hub, and its Fast Confirmation mechanism can reduce transfer friction by about 98%.
