This time it wasn’t a guess—it was the shorts finally letting out the breath they’d been holding. Right at the start of the session when they dumped the market, $LTC dropped from a high level, and the order book instantly felt clean; those earlier fake moves also finally had an answer.
A few days ago in the afternoon, I was watching LTC. I saw the rebound strength getting weaker and weaker—each push up didn’t have enough “one more breath,” and the trading volume didn’t keep up either. The “nobody’s willing to catch you when you go up” vibe was strong. So I warned then: don’t get tricked by the small pumps hidden inside the range; wait until the break in support reveals itself before taking action.
The short position was executed near 53.67 to open a long. Now the price is at 46.75; the profit from this round of review is +914.87%. This chunk of meat feels great to eat.
Close 80% first. Keep the remaining 20% and move the protection level back near the cost basis. Put the big part into your pocket first; let the remaining position run on its own. Even if it bounces back, don’t give back the gains.
Don’t grind your patience away in a range just because you want to win back your “dignity” in a one-way move. For friends who haven’t gotten on board yet, take my advice: if you miss it, don’t chase—wait for the next wave of signals and then act.
