PlanB speaks out against a Bitcoin BIP 110 fork, saying supporters haven’t understood the essence of decentralization
PANews, July 25 — Crypto analyst PlanB posted on X, saying he clearly opposes BIP 110 filtering off forks. He said the supporters of the fork do not truly understand Bitcoin’s nature as a decentralized, bearer asset, how much Bitcoin users hate spam, and why the BCH fork failed. Previously, Strategy founder Michael Saylor also posted to oppose the proposal. BIP 110 aims to restrict non-financial data storage on Bitcoin, but it has been resisted by some members of the community.
