I didn’t do anything—just went to the restroom, and when I came back, the chart had already finished the job for me. During that mid-session drop, @ from holding pressure at the high turned to pushing it downward, and the shorts finally stopped lingering.
Before the market had fully started this morning, I saw that LTC’s rebound wasn’t solid. The moment the price got close to the key level, it was knocked back again. Sell orders kept appearing, but the bids/support started getting thinner and thinner. Not every rise is worth chasing—especially when the push like this doesn’t continue.
At the time, I went long around 53.67. Now the price has reached 45.99, and the short-closure realized result is recorded as +1014.02%. This profit wasn’t made by guessing. It was mainly because I got the details of the push that couldn’t go through, all worked out clearly.
First, reduce the position by 80%, and keep the remaining 20% under cost-price protection. If there’s another sell-off, let the profit naturally keep extending. And if a pullback happens, don’t get greedy for the last bite—hold the rhythm first.
Don’t grind away all your patience in a range just to gamble for respect in a one-way move. If you didn’t get on the train, don’t rush to buy more—wait for the next round of positions that are more comfortable, then follow the clear signals.
