📊 IPO debuts on the stock market have underperformed the market since 2019.

According to an analysis by Apollo Global Management, companies that went public since 2019, on average, have delivered performance below that of the market over their first three years of trading.
The chart shows that the years 2020 to 2024 are among the weakest seen in several decades.
A trend that serves as a reminder that investing in an IPO is not always synonymous with quick gains, despite the enthusiasm that often comes with new stock listings.
