AIMPACT, April 27 (UTC+8) — Turing Institute (turinginst) issued a notice reminding people to attend the upcoming Turing lecture to be held on April 28, 2026, from 18:00 to 21:00. The topic is “Frontier AI Under Pressure: Building Resilience Across Layers.” The lecture will be delivered by Chris Hicks and Mikel Rodriguez. It focuses on the challenges faced by frontier AI systems in high-pressure environments such as adversarial attacks, data distribution shift, and model failures, and explores cross-layer resilience design principles—from hardware infrastructure to the application layer and human supervision—including redundancy, diversity, monitoring, and adaptive mechanisms.
