DeFi has more to worry about than future quantum attacks.

Quantum computing is a real threat, but widespread access outside nation-state actors is likely still years away. We have time to prepare through post-quantum signatures, wallet migration, key rotation and carefully planned protocol upgrades etc

The immediate threat is happening right now.
Too many chains and DeFi protocols underfund security, audits and development. Today, almost anyone with access to a powerful local AI model and an a agent can analyse public code, identify weaknesses and design potential attack vectors simply by feeding it enough data.
This is no longer an attack scenario for the future.
It is happening today.
Projects must stop treating security as an expense and start treating it as core infrastructure.
