A few days ago, I was still hesitating at bedtime about whether to shut down the position. I didn’t expect that when I checked again in the morning, the shorts had already written the answer out in plain sight. I thought this round was completely hopeless, but $SUI was still grinding at the high end. Every attempt to push up was just short by one breath, and the key levels were never truly taken.

I put SUI under close observation. After the price went up, it lacked follow-through, while sell orders kept stacking down layer by layer. When it returned to around 1.0341, I executed a long: the logic is simple—if the rebound isn’t strong, then I won’t take the very last step for the longs.

The current price is 0.7047. The short position shows a profit of +1534.47%. This drop wasn’t in vain—it’s realized thanks to patience.

Take profit when it’s time to take profit: close 80% first, and keep the remaining 20% protected around the cost basis. If it keeps sliding further, let the profits run. If it bounces back, don’t let the gains turn into an emotional roller coaster.

The market is something you wait for; profits are something you hold. This isn’t the time to rush. Don’t hard-chase missed levels—wait until the next opportunity appears.
