Recently, Zama’s first real confidential DeFi yield scenario went live. As of today, the confidential USDC Vault TVL has reached $25 million, indicating that validators and whales are willing to participate in DeFi using privacy assets—this is a positive signal!
Also, some OGs in the Ethereum ecosystem are firmly bullish, including Multicoin Capital’s Kyle Samani and Tushar Jain. And on Ethereum’s official org page, Zama is directly listed as a tool for building confidential smart contracts.
Zama’s goal is to let existing public chains quickly obtain powerful confidential computing capabilities at the lowest cost, without having to rebuild the wheels from the ground up themselves. In other words, embedding Zama ≈ public chains quickly gaining FHE privacy capabilities.
