Gold Is Testing a Critical Decision Zone
Gold is once again trading around $4,050, and the market has reached a level where the next move could define the trend for the coming week. After falling from recent highs, price is trying to stabilize above the $4,000 psychological support, while traders wait for the Federal Reserve meeting and fresh U.S. economic data.

This is not the time to chase the market. Instead, it is the time to let the market reveal its direction.

Current Market Overview

• Current Price: Around $4,053
• Immediate Resistance: $4,100
• Major Resistance: $4,250
• Strong Support: $4,000
• Next Support: $3,964

Gold remains under short-term pressure because it is still trading below important moving averages. However, buyers continue defending the $4,000 area, showing that demand has not disappeared.

What the Chart Is Telling Us

The market is currently moving inside a consolidation range. Neither buyers nor sellers have complete control.

If buyers regain momentum and push price above $4,100, confidence could quickly return and attract fresh buying.

On the other hand, if sellers break $4,000, many stop-loss orders may be triggered, creating a faster decline toward lower support levels.

This makes the current zone one of the most important technical areas on the chart.

Trading Strategy

Bullish Strategy

Entry:
Buy only after a strong candle closes above $4,100 or after a confirmed bounce from $4,000.

Targets:
• Target 1: $4,100
• Target 2: $4,180
• Final Target: $4,250

Stop Loss:
Below $3,964

Bearish Strategy

Entry:
Sell only if gold closes below $4,000 with strong selling volume.

Targets:
• Target 1: $3,964
• Target 2: $3,900
• Extended Target: $3,850

Stop Loss:
Above $4,050

Risk Management

Never risk more than 1–2% of your trading capital on a single position.

Avoid opening trades just before major Federal Reserve announcements because volatility can increase sharply.

Always wait for confirmation instead of predicting breakouts.

Market Outlook

The Federal Reserve meeting is expected to be the biggest catalyst for gold next week.

A hawkish message could strengthen the U.S. dollar and push gold below $4,000.

A dovish tone or weaker economic outlook could trigger a recovery toward $4,100 and possibly $4,250.

Final Market View

At the moment, my bias is neutral with a slight bullish edge as long as gold continues defending the $4,000 support.

Today's Expected Trading Range: $4,000–$4,100

Next Bullish Target: $4,100, followed by $4,250 if resistance breaks.

Next Bearish Target: $3,964 if the market closes below $4,000.

Patience is the best strategy here. Let the market confirm the breakout before committing to a trade.
