Jin10 Data July 25 report: On Friday, NVIDIA announced that it will partner with South Korea’s SK Group on an AI program with a total value of more than $500 billion, covering large-scale AI data center construction and next-generation memory technology. The plan includes establishing a long-term partnership with SK hynix, aiming to ensure NVIDIA has access to next-generation memory supply and to jointly develop high-bandwidth memory (HBM) for AI training, AI agents, and physical AI applications. SK Telecom plans to build an AI data center with an installed capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW). The center will use NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin chips and SK hynix’s HBM4 high-bandwidth memory. The first facility is expected to go into operation in 2027.
