Cardano founder: If governance cannot address quantum threats, then Bitcoin could lose its first position

Golden Finance reports that on July 25, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that quantum computing could become a major test of Bitcoin’s governance capabilities. If the Bitcoin network cannot coordinate the necessary upgrades, BTC could lose its position as the world’s largest crypto asset.
Hoskinson said Bitcoin’s problem is that it is “frozen in time,” and any change is very difficult. He believes that disappointment with Bitcoin’s lack of flexibility early on was one of the reasons that helped give rise to Ethereum.
