7.25 BTC & ETH early-morning thoughts analysis

Market moves with heavy volume downward; on the 4-hour timeframe, a large bearish candle closes, and long-side support is directly broken through. In the short term, bearish momentum has been fully released. The market’s swing highs keep moving lower, rebound strength keeps weakening, the trend has officially shifted into a downward channel, and the support area below faces further tests.

After a rapid selloff, there may be a small short-term corrective move, but the overall bearish structure has not changed. Rebounds are more like technical pullbacks—don’t treat them as reversal signals. In terms of trading, focus mainly on going short at overhead resistance; be cautious about bottom-picking.

Trading suggestions:
For BTC: If it rebounds to around 64,600–65,000, go short directly. Set the stop-loss near 65,350. Targets are sequentially 63,700–63,400.

For ETH: If it rebounds to around 1,885–1,905, go short directly. Set the stop-loss near 1,928. Targets are sequentially 1,848–1,820.

The bearish trend is clear—any rebound is a short.

The analysis makes a lot of sense: after a 4-hour big bearish candle breaks the level, short-term support turns into resistance. Now that it has rebounded to 64,600, shorting at 64,600 is quite reasonable. The stop-loss is also properly set—just follow the rhythm.

People trying to bottom-fish should be careful—this downturn isn’t over yet, and any rebound is just an opportunity to get you onboard to short.

Well said—after such a sharp sell-off and rebound, it really can tempt longs; shorting from a higher position is still the safer option.

BTC at 65,000—before this level was also resistance. Now that it has rebounded back to the area, shorting near here is fine. ETH at 1,905 is also the former low support turning into resistance.
