Coinbase executives make frequent reshuffles, accelerating its transformation into a “full-category exchange”

PANews July 24, according to The Information, Coinbase is undergoing its largest executive shake-up in recent years: Chief People Officer Lawrence Brock stepped down and moved into an advisory role, co-head of the Institutional division Greg Tusar transferred to a policy position, General Counsel Paul Grewal plans to leave, and Jesse Pollak, who was in charge of Base, has stepped down. Earlier, in May Coinbase laid off about 14% of its staff. The company is accelerating its shift from a single crypto trading platform to a “multi-category exchange” business strategy that covers crypto assets, stocks, and prediction markets.
