Someone asked: You’re down 30%—should you cut your position or hold on?

Shiyuan’s reply was: Don’t rush into making a decision yet; first ask yourself three questions—
First: Is the logic behind your original entry still valid?
Second: With your current position size, can you still sleep well?
Third: If you were currently in a zero-position state, would you buy it again?

If all your answers are “no,” then there’s only one way to get out of the loss: reduce your position in batches and take back control.
Besides this, one more thing is important: don’t treat “getting back to breakeven” as the finish line—it’s only the starting point for you to learn how to live with the market again!
