What’s the harshest humiliation you’ve ever experienced?

A while back, Cat Brother saw a video in a phishing group.
It was just after 10 p.m.
The fish pond owner was shining a flashlight to patrol the pond.
When he walked to the shore, he saw a man sitting there fishing.
The owner called out:
“Bro.”
The man clearly froze for a moment..
He quickly put down his fishing rod and stood up.
The owner asked:
“Do you know this is a private fish pond?”
The man nodded
and said softly:
“Yes.”
The owner asked again:
“Then why are you still here?”
The man scratched his head, smiling a bit awkwardly.
“I got laid off a while back.”
“I can’t sleep at night.”
“So I came out to sit for a bit.”
The owner glanced at him..
and didn’t keep pressing.
He just asked:
“How many did you catch?”
The man lowered his head and gave a bitter smile….
“None at all.”
The owner smiled.
“Really?”
“My three-thousand-jin fish pond—other people can catch fish with one cast.”
“You didn’t catch a single one?”
The man’s face instantly turned red
and he didn’t say anything for a long time.
The owner waved his hand
“Forget it, forget it.”
“Today, I won’t charge you.”
“I’ll give you two more fish.”
“So you can go home and explain to your wife.”
The man was silent for a few seconds..
his voice got even smaller..
“I’m not married yet.”
The owner was stunned for a moment.
The wind blew
and his cap got blown off—he hurried to pick it up…
revealing a sparse few hairs on his head..
The owner didn’t say anything
He walked to the side, opened the metal bucket for fish, and unlocked it.
He’d originally planned to give two fish
but in the end, he silently scooped up four.
He packed them into a bag and handed it to him..
He only said one line:
“Go home and get some sleep early.”
The man took the bag
and only said “thank you.”
Head down, he left with the fish and his things—
The owner kept standing by the shore..
watching as his back disappeared into the night…
