In recent days, there have actually been many changes to Pi Network, and many updates are gradually improving the entire underlying infrastructure step by step.

1、The mainnet has officially entered protocol v25, one step closer to v26.

Yesterday, the entire mainnet was officially upgraded to protocol v25.

This upgrade not only improves network stability and reliability, but also adds privacy protection capabilities, introducing cryptographic tools that are better suited for developing zero-knowledge applications, laying the groundwork for future smart contracts that are more efficient and more privacy-focused.

2、After the protocol upgrade, the official Docker repository also showed new changes.

After the upgrade was completed last night, I found that the Pi official Docker repository added a new container:

★ pi-node-docker —— the node core container; every protocol upgrade comes from here;

★ solohost-remote-gateway —— a container related to AI local models released on June 28, providing support for SoloHost and local AI applications;

★ pi-node-port-checker —— a newly added node port checker.

Personally, I think the added port checker is very likely being prepared for the distributed computing applications the official mentioned earlier. According to the official description, in the future the plan is to allow the top-ranking portion of nodes to contribute idle computing resources and participate in artificial intelligence tasks. If this direction is gradually rolled out, then nodes will have the opportunity to take on more computing-related work besides maintaining the blockchain. Of course, the official has not explicitly stated that the port checker is intended for this purpose; this part is my own understanding based on recent updates.

3、The 12-grid token has started appearing in development documentation.

Recently, in Pi’s development demo documentation, you can already see test tokens such as IRRA. I think this actually releases a signal worth paying attention to. If, in the future, the tokens issued on the Launchpad can truly enter circulation in the ecosystem, then the entire Pi ecosystem will no longer have only one type of asset, but can form a richer application ecosystem. For enterprises entering the Pi ecosystem in the future, the tokens they issue won’t just stay at the showcase level—they will have the opportunity to be genuinely used for various scenarios such as payments and services. The richer the applications in the ecosystem, the more companies will participate, and the overall network’s usefulness will keep increasing.

4、OSL ecosystem map gave me some new thoughts.

Recently, RootData released an OSL Stablecoin Partner Ecosystem map. In the blockchain category, we can see Pi Network appearing alongside multiple well-known public chains. Regarding this, Pi’s official has not published a dedicated announcement so far, but at the very least, it shows that Pi has started appearing in the ecosystem blueprints compiled by more and more industry organizations.

Many times, what we see is an update, a picture, a name. And what may be truly important is that behind these public updates, the entire ecosystem is being pushed forward little by little.

No matter what, you should always keep a love for it.
Any seemingly unremarkable day today is the tomorrow that changes the world.
And I also wish that every pioneer can, through their own perseverance, gain their own growth and rewards.
