Odaily Planet Daily reports: Zama founder Rand said in a post on X that Zama has launched the Confidential RFQ confidential request-for-quote protocol. It has already been deployed on the Ethereum mainnet in a private test version, and is expected to be released publicly in September; it will later support multiple chains. The protocol is based on the ERC-7984 confidential token standard, enabling professional market makers to compete to fill encrypted transactions through sealed-bid auctions while hiding the transaction size, direction, and asset type end to end. The protocol will use 100% of swap fees for the buyback and burning of ZAMA tokens, with no front-end fees. Zama said that currently, large on-chain transactions are still handled through over-the-counter trading or dark pools because they need to avoid exposing strategies.
