I've tested, built, and automated dozens of trading strategies with AI.

Sounds complicated, but it's way easier than you'd imagine.
Building used to require technical expertise. Now it just requires Claude.
If you want to build your first AI trading bot, follow these steps 9 steps:
1. Pick one strategy (RSI, EMA cross, mean reversion) - could even be your own strategy
2. Prompt Claude to turn it into a fully objective rule set. No discretion; every rule needs to be computable.
Entry/exit rules, position sizing, etc.
Turn everything into .md files.
3. Prompt Claude to convert those rules into TradingView Pine Script v6, ready to paste into the Pine Editor.
4. Open TradingView, paste the code, click Add to Chart.
5. Download the CSV of every backtested trade, feed it back to Claude, and ask exactly how to improve the strategy.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 until the strategy actually holds up across multiple timeframes and asset classes.
7. Once you have a solid strategy, connect your exchange or broker (Alpaca, Blofin, Robinhood, etc) through its MCP server.
8. Generate an API key from your exchange and hand it to your AI agent (I like Claude).
9. Tell it to watch the market and flag you when a trade matches your strategy's conditions, or let it execute automatically.
Any strategy you can imagine can be turned into code, and thus, completely automated.
Save this to build your first bot today (you can even feed this tweet to Claude Code).
