A few days ago, the hand that set the stop-loss trembled slightly; this morning I realized it was unnecessary “filial piety.” This morning when I opened the charts, $LTC was already under pressure from the highs. The earlier rebound didn’t get fresh buy orders to carry it forward—after it spiked, it kept falling. When I watched $LTC, what I saw was insufficient follow-through and a heavy “baiting” feel. The originally beautiful surge ended up leaving only an outer shell.
During the session, I arranged a long around 53.67. The current price has returned to 47.35, and I locked in gains of +835.54%. At this point, don’t compete with your profits—take 80% off the table first. Put the protection level for the remaining 20% near the cost basis. If it continues to weaken, let it run. If it suddenly rebounds upward, it will still protect the portion you’ve already secured.
Risk management comes first—that’s called rationality; cutting the position after you’re already losing—that’s called “a brave person severing the wrist.” Don’t forget position discipline just because you’ve had a stretch of good luck.
Friends who haven’t gotten in yet, don’t rush to add tickets. After a sharp sell-off, you’re easily swept back and forth. Wait for the next wave of signals and quietly wait for good news—the next opportunity will feel even more comfortable.
