Canton Strategic sells its Gravitas unit to shift focus toward digitalization of financial market businesses

PANews July 24, citing a PRNewswire report, Nasdaq-listed company Canton Strategic Holdings announced that it has completed the sale transaction of its biotechnology R&D unit Gravitas Life Sciences. The buyer is Gravitas Collective Corp. The deal was unanimously approved by the company’s board of directors and was officially completed on July 17, 2026. This divestment marks the company’s further transformation into an operating company focused on digitizing traditional financial markets around the Canton Network, advancing the process of asset tokenization and digitalization of financial markets, as well as the financial infrastructure business.
