🐋 WHALE WATCH : 5 AI narratives worth watching

The current phase is about building payment compute privacy and ownership infrastructure around AI. Heres where I am focused.
1. Agentic Commerce
AI agents need to buy data compute and services without waiting for manual approval on every transaction. x402 and MPP are turning this into a real infrastructure category.
Coinbase reports roughly 75M x402 transactions $24M in volume 94K buyers and 22K sellers over the last 30 days. The protocol moved under the Linux Foundation with backing from Coinbase Cloudflare and Stripe.

2. Decentralized AI
Training and inference are expensive and concentrated among a handful of cloud providers. Crypto creates open markets where compute models and data compete on measurable output.
Bittensor is the clearest example. Each subnet operates as an incentive market for a specific digital commodity: inference storage prediction compute.

3. Onchain AI
This category connects AI directly with wallets protocols and smart contracts. The first generation of agents produced content. The next generation executes trades manages positions coordinates capital and pays other agents.
Better agent execution infrastructure is the main catalyst.

4. Private AI and Onchain Inference
If every prompt credential and strategy is publicly exposed AI agents cant manage institutional capital or sensitive user data. Privacy becomes an economic requirement.
This category matters most for trading agents enterprise workflows and autonomous treasury management.

5. Robotics
Robots connect AI intelligence with productive physical assets. They generate revenue, consume services and require financing. Crypto provides identity ownership payments and revenue distribution.
peaqOS has demonstrated robots using embedded wallets to pay for services. Its latest integration lets machines use agents to purchase capabilities through ACP. peaq has over 3.3M machines and devices onboarded as of March.
Robotics is the earliest narrative here. It may also produce the strongest link between tokens and real world cash flow.
