Another reminder that bridges remain one of DeFi's biggest security risks
The attacker reportedly exploited an AFX-operated bridge, draining approximately 24.15M USDC before bridging the funds to Ethereum and swapping them into 12,467 ETH
It's important to note that Arbitrum itself was not compromised
The exploit was isolated to AFX's bridge infrastructure, not the underlying blockchain
