Gold Finance reported that on July 23, according to on-chain analyst Specter monitoring, the B² Network on BNB Chain was hacked, with losses of about 8.59M B2 tokens (about $3.86 million). After the attacker converted them into 5,409 WBNB (about $3.11 million), they bridged to Ethereum and are currently transferring funds to Zcash via NEAR Intents.
The team then contacted the attacker on-chain, stating that if they can return at least 10% of the stolen funds (about $386k) to the official address within the next 24 hours, the team will view this as a good-faith act and will not initiate legal proceedings.
