7.23 Thursday afternoon
Last night, the U.S. CLARITY Crypto Bill reached consensus on ethical provisions. The moment the news broke, market sentiment was ignited. BTC then rode the momentum to surge and briefly touch 66,900. But the pump couldn’t break past that level—once it hit there, it stopped. After that, short-term profit-taking became concentrated, the order book gradually weakened, and during the afternoon the price hovered around 65,900, oscillating in that zone.
The confirmation of this move is very clear: it’s an emotion pulse triggered by the news. The order book’s trading volume did not keep pace, and there was no obvious follow-through from large out-of-market funds entering to continue the push. This suggests it’s not a trend-driven uptrend, but rather a “pump and pullback” structure after short-term emotional overextension. At the current position, the momentum to push BTC higher is clearly insufficient. Chasing the pump offers poor value; instead, it’s better to set up for a re-entry aligned with the logic of the pulse fading.
Suggestions:
BTC: wait for a pullback and look for support in the 66,300–66,800 range,
Target: around 64,900–64,400
ETH: wait for a pullback and look for support in the 1,950–1,990 range,
Target: around 1,890–1,850
Long is based on pullbacks—don’t chase at the highs. Wait for the pullback to reach the levels before entering. Manage risk, and adjust again at night in line with the U.S. stock market rhythm.
