The first domestically produced TPU thousand-card AI computing cluster in East China has been completed

During WAIC, the ceremony for the first domestic TPU kiloclass computing cluster in East China (Hangzhou) was held. The cluster was jointly built by Hangzhou Telecom, ZTE, and China Haoxing Technology, and is the first large-scale domestic TPU cluster deployment project within the China Telecom system. It is understood that the cluster is built on the “Taize®” computing platform, providing fully self-developed computing power for scenarios such as large model training, AI inference, and scientific computing. The “Taize®” 2.0 artificial intelligence server is formed by two high-performance CPUs and eight Haoxing Technology TPU-architecture AI chips “Siyu®” working together, with total system computing power of 7.168P. At the cluster deployment level, a single super node can achieve up to 2,048 Siyu chips directly connected, supporting the training of trillion-parameter large models. On the software side, deep adaptation of large models including the full series of Qwen, DeepSeek, and GLM has been completed. (Cn. Fin. News)
