ETH rose from 1870 to 1965, surged to 1958, then kept printing consecutive bearish candles, stalling in the high range. On-chain is indeed busy, and the mega whales are buying—yet the candlesticks just won’t move. Long and short are now at the real deciding moment—don’t pick a side; wait for direction. Whoever wins is who you follow.
Watch these two levels
Key resistance above: 1940-1965, the 100-day moving average at 1936 overlapping with the Fibonacci 0.5 level at 1940. A breakout and hold = the bulls continue, targeting 2000-2042
Key support below: 1900-1890, the 20-day and 50-day moving average convergence zone + support from the rising trendline. A breakdown = bears take control, targeting 1860-1850
Long/short logic
Reasons to go long:
① Mega whales bought via Galaxy Digital OTC, sweeping 27,000 ETH. Arthur Hayes recently accumulated another 2,600+ ETH, with cost around 1900—big money is densely accumulating near 1900
② On the 4-hour cycle, MACD is running above the zero line; the key uptrend line hasn’t been effectively broken— the larger bull structure remains unchanged
③ Bitcoin ETFs have had net inflows for 6 straight days—ETH can only have a chance if the broader market holds
Reasons to go short:
① On the 1-hour chart, after topping at 1958, there were consecutive bearish candles; a MACD top bearish divergence signal appeared, and short-term momentum is clearly weakening
② Ethereum spot ETFs had net outflows of $28.04 million yesterday; net outflows for multiple days are weighing on the market
③ Day 11 of the US-Iran conflict: oil prices have jumped to a six-week high; inflation fears suppress risk appetite
What should I do?
Breakout long: Buy more on strong volume and a hold above 1940-1965, stop loss below 1920, target 2000-2042.
Breakdown short: Go short on a valid breakdown below 1900-1890, stop loss above 1920, target 1860-1850.
Middle zone: Don’t act between 1890-1940; wait for confirmation of direction.
The mega whales are accumulating, while the candlesticks stall—under the contradiction, let the market choose direction on its own. The true hunter waits for the prey to tip to one side before pulling the trigger $ETH
