PANews July 23 news, as reported by Cointelegraph: Digital asset infrastructure provider BitGo and OTC Markets Group plan to cooperate to provide digital asset trading and custody infrastructure for broker-dealers. The goal is to expand institutional access to tokenized securities through existing market infrastructure. The two parties plan to serve more than 150 broker-dealers that use OTC Link ATS (an alternative trading system regulated by the SEC). Participating parties may use their existing OTC and US equities electronic trading infrastructure to quote, trade, and settle digital asset securities. BitGo Bank & Trust will act as a qualified custodian, and settlement will be conducted through BitGo’s Go Network. This framework will initially support digital asset securities, and in the future can be expanded to tokenized assets and commodities.
