ME News message: On July 23 (UTC+8), the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) said it plans to launch a tokenized U.S. Treasuries pilot trading on its private blockchain by the end of this year, and plans to roll out tokenized U.S. Treasuries by the end of 2026, aiming to achieve 7×24-hour settlement of traditional and tokenized U.S. Treasuries by 2027. Earlier this year, the bank facilitated after-hours U.S. Treasuries trading involving Ripple and stablecoin issuers from OpenEden. (Source: ODAILY)
