Grayscale filing disclosure: 100 wallets hold 90% of Worldcoin’s circulating supply
PANews July 23, according to Protos, a SEC filing submitted for the Worldcoin ETF by Grayscale disclosed that about 90% of circulating WLD tokens are concentrated in 100 wallets, contrasting with the project’s vision of “fairly distributing to as many people around the world as possible.” The filing also acknowledges that the World Chain sequencer is operated in a centralized manner, while upgrade features are coordinated and controlled by a small group of participants from World Foundation, Tools for Humanity, and Optimism, with governance “still primarily guided by World Foundation.”
