Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 23, Bloomberg reported that Bank of New York Mellon is building infrastructure for around-the-clock settlement of U.S. Treasury securities in the U.S. to adapt to the impact of the digital asset market on the traditional financial system. The bank said it facilitated an after-hours Treasury transaction involving a stablecoin issuer earlier this year.

Under its plan, Bank of New York Mellon plans to launch tokenized U.S. Treasuries by the end of 2026 and conduct pilot trading on its private blockchain. It also aims to enable 24/7 settlement support for traditional and tokenized U.S. Treasuries in 2027.
