The U.S. House of Representatives has officially passed a bill banning members of Congress from insider trading.

1. Ban spouses and children from buying individual stocks.
2. Before selling the stocks they already hold, they must provide a public notice.
3. Fines of at least $2,000 or 10% of the transaction value, plus repayment of any profits; this does not apply to the president and government officials.
4. The bill will now be submitted to the Senate, where 60 votes are needed for passage.
This bill is entirely aimed at Trump.
