Just as I carried the coffee to the table edge, the chart on the screen already made the decision for me: when $BTC dropped with that move, the shorts finally released the pressure they had been holding in.

When the market dumped in the early session, I saw the price repeatedly push up around 76886.0, but it never managed to form a real, solid takeover. The moment the sell side pressed down, the rebound immediately lost momentum. My judgment at the time was clear: the key level above hadn’t disappeared, so chasing longs would likely get you trapped. It was better to wait for the pullback to confirm before taking action, so I executed the open-long.

Now the price is at 65719.2, and the short position’s unrealized profit is already up +2524.08%. This piece of profit is comfortable to take. Close 80% first; keep the remaining 20% and move the protection level to around the entry cost. If it keeps dumping further, let the profit run. And if it bounces back, don’t give up the advantage you’ve already secured.

Having no positions isn’t a crime—opening trades recklessly is the mistake.

Take profit first so your mindset won’t be dragged around by the next K-line.

Friends who haven’t gotten on the train yet, don’t rush to chase. Let the missed spot miss. Wait for the next round of signals, then handle it in rhythm. There will be opportunities later too.
