The odds dropping from the previous high to 39% is definitely painful, but Republican lawmakers’ internal compromise takes time—the specific terms of the new bill are the key. It’s likely another standoff between stablecoins and exchanges.

What’s the rush? 39% is just real-time odds. Negotiations are a back-and-forth standoff; in the end, getting through is just a matter of an instant.

At this point in time, the Senate Republicans are introducing a new bill draft—clearly to heat up the election and generate bargaining chips. The bill itself is a tool of political gamesmanship; don’t take it too seriously—watch how institutions like BlackRock react.

They’ve been talking clearly year after year, but nothing ever comes of it. 39% is basically no hope—better to give up the fantasy sooner.

What exactly did the new draft change? Does anyone who knows well explain it? Is the 39% probability a sharp drop compared to before, or just normal fluctuation?

Dropping from 60%+ to 39%—that fall is quite stimulating. It looks like getting to a one-shot solution at the federal level is still too hard, and each state working out its own regulatory framework may be the way forward. But then again, even tags like #TrumpAgreesToClarityEthicsClause are showing up, which suggests everyone is trying to make themselves heard. Once the dust settles, I bet it’ll be another mess.
