BTC is around 65.9k u today. The daily chart and the hourly chart are telling two different stories right now.

On the daily side, price is struggling within the range of 65,488 to 66,527 u. MACD is lifting upward, which suggests momentum is building, but on the hourly side momentum has already started to fade—buyers haven’t yet obtained structural, dominant control.

The daily pivot is at 66,114 u. Above it, the upper Bollinger Band at 66,263 u and the hourly 20 moving average at 66,145 u are still capping price. This zone is a dense sell-pressure area, and the bulls have not cleaned it up for the time being.

First, we need to see the daily close cleanly above 66,527 u, and for the hourly moving averages to rearrange back into a bullish configuration. Only then, if the hourly MACD turns positive, can we confirm that the daily momentum has truly transmitted into the hourly structure.

Looking downward: if the daily support at 65,488 u breaks, it could open the way toward the Bollinger Band middle line at 64,062 u.

The regulatory news about the Clarity Act sparked a brief surge a few days ago, but it didn’t lead to a real breakout. The Fear & Greed Index is now 33, which is relatively cautious—not a state of panic selling.

There’s also activity from a big holder: a company called Satsuma reportedly has a shareholder vote to clear out a reserve position holding 668 BTC. This is a single case, not an industry-wide signal. #btc $BTC
