This profit makes me feel genuinely uneasy, afraid the market might suddenly remember to take back its emotions tomorrow. When I just finished looking at the bad news, $ICP was still holding up in the high zone. At first glance, it looked like a rebound after the bad news had landed, but when I watched more closely, I found there wasn’t anyone stepping in to take it. The follow-through wasn’t there.

I waited until ICP again hit the key level area, but the price still couldn’t hold steady. The rebound strength was weaker and weaker, and sell orders kept appearing at key positions. Back then, I didn’t overthink it. I executed a long around 2.528, only following the short-term rhythm that I can understand.

Now the price is at 2.202, and +621.02% has already been realized—there’s your answer. When it’s time to take profit, take it. Close 80% first, keep the remaining 20% to keep observing. Move the protection level to around the cost basis. If there’s further downside, then hold; and if there’s a dead-cat bounce, don’t hand the profit back.

Pros die from catching the bottom; weeds die from chasing orders. If you can control your hand, you’ll have the next chance to act.

Chasing the drop is easy to get shaken off. If you didn’t participate in this leg, there’s no need to rush—wait for a new structure and signals, then move. I’ll just wait for good news.
