Trump: “We held the most successful World Cup in history. I can’t wait to host it again. Every match felt like a Super Bowl—there was no chaos.”

The U.S.-Canada-Mexico World Cup has already come to an end. This edition expanded to 48 teams, with more than 6.81 million people coming to watch in person, setting a new attendance record for a World Cup held on-site. However, during this World Cup, topics such as forced hydration stoppages and the “suspended” incident involving a Balogong red card still generated quite a bit of controversy.

U.S. President Trump said recently, “We just held the World Cup. This World Cup was very well done—this is the most successful World Cup in history. We didn’t face any protest activities, and there were no crime incidents. Every match was like a Super Bowl, with no chaos.”

“Everyone, when they leave, loves this country. I saw the enthusiasm of all the countries—no one wants to leave.”

“During the World Cup period, people in this country truly came together. That’s amazing. Before the final, I don’t want to bring these things up. I want to wait until after the final to mention how smoothly the event was hosted.”

“We just held the most successful World Cup ever. The workload for this World Cup was 5 times that of previous World Cups. I want to host the World Cup again as soon as possible, but we can’t secure the hosting rights for the next one.”
