Three months ago, his account had only the final 1000U left.

This was not the principal from his initial entry, but the last bit of money remaining after a continuous string of liquidations and losses—when everything was wiped out again and again.

Before that, he was just like most retail traders: he loved going all-in, loved holding positions, added to losses, chased pumps and sold dumps, believed every kind of insider info, and followed bloggers to place trades.

After a few rounds of messing around, not only did he fail to turn a profit—he ended up losing even more. One night, watching his bleak account, his mindset broke, and he even considered quitting the crypto market altogether.

What truly turned him around was never luck, but the fact that he completely corrected his bad retail habits.

He deleted every group, blocked all “trade-copying” influencers, stopped listening to messages, and stopped betting on the market. He set a set of iron rules for himself:
Only trade mainstream big coins, strictly control leverage, light-position trial and error, never use heavy positions to gamble, if you don’t understand then stay in cash, and if you lose, never hold on to losses.

In the beginning, the period when he first changed, his profits were very slow.
He would occasionally make a small gain, occasionally take a small loss—the account would go up and down, and there was not a glimmer of hope for a turnaround.

He also had times when he made mistakes and got stopped out for loss cutting, missed the market, or saw profits retrace—his mindset would still get restless, but he no longer chased the mood, and he no longer did revenge trading.

He slowly realized:
With small capital, turning around has never been about one wave of sudden wealth, but about stability, discipline, and compounding.

While others trade and刷单 every day, he only does deterministic structures;
While others open positions chaotically during chop, he patiently waits for the trend;
While others greedily take the highest point with floating profit, he takes profit in stages and locks in gains.

When the market is bad, he stays in cash to rest;
If the structure isn’t right, he firmly doesn’t enter to gamble.

After going through repeated reviews and after-the-fact analysis, his trading rhythm became more and more steady.
He no longer let emotions on the screen control him, and he no longer let rises and falls tug at his mindset—he only executes his own trading system.

The market won’t disappoint people who have patience and discipline.

In this latest trend phase, he saw the structure clearly, accumulated in batches at low entries, kept it non-speculative, and strictly managed risk. He held his positions firmly through the main upswing, didn’t greedily chase the tail end, and didn’t fall in love with the move—once it’s time, he takes profit.

Just recently, his account steadily broke through from 1000U to 10000U, perfectly completing a tenfold turnaround.

Outsiders only see the result of his tenfold increase and envy that he caught the market.
But nobody sees:
How many times he got rid of the impulse to go heavy, how many times he resisted bottom-picking against the trend, how many times he gave up on uncertain temptations, and how many times he endured countless boring waits.

The market is the fairest:
Luck can only make you money occasionally, but discipline is what keeps you in the game for the long run.

He used his own experience to prove one lesson:
In the crypto market, turning around has never been about being aggressive, betting, or using heavy positions.
It’s about keeping your hands under control, managing your exposure, and stabilizing your mind—then slowly accumulating the compounding that belongs to you through countless ordinary trades.

There is always a market every day, but people who can truly capture profits and protect profits are always a minority.

Hold your hands back to turn things around—what you said is absolutely right.

After reading this, I feel a lot of resonance. I learned to take light positions and cut losses only after losing countless times myself, and only gradually did I become consistently profitable.

Actually, many people understand these principles, but they just can’t put them into action. Being able to follow through is what truly makes someone strong.

This case feels way too real. A lot of retail traders are like this—going all-in with heavy positions and ending up liquidated. Truly changing your trading habits the way he did is really not easy; it takes not only technology, but also mindset cultivation. The market really only rewards people with discipline—well said.

1,000U compound interest, tenfold returns—the discipline is the way.
