Moonshot AI Aims for $50B Valuation as the AI Competition Enters a New Era

Sources suggest the artificial intelligence unicorn is expected to start pre-IPO funding discussions in August at a $50 billion pre-money valuation, a massive spike from current expectations.

Before the next round, Moonshot AI is expected to complete its ongoing round of funding at a valuation of around $31.5 billion. After which, the company intends to commence another round of financing to potentially raise between $2-3 billion. This could potentially be the final private funding round before an eventual IPO in Hong Kong within six months.

Beyond innovation, the company also saw considerable business traction as Moonshot AI’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) was around $300 million in June, up from an estimated $200 million in April. This upward revenue growth post-Kimi K3 deployment highlights a significant uptick in demand for advanced AI services and enterprise solutions.
