To survive in the market, first throw away your feelings. The following rules are a life-saving manual I earned by trading through liquidation, cutting losses, and sleepless nights.
First, cut losses hard—don’t stubbornly hold on.
I once waited for a rebound until I got liquidated, and the cost was brutal. When you hit your stop-loss level, leave immediately—admitting a loss is what protects principal better than stubbornly fighting on.
Second, stop as soon as you make a mistake—don’t keep battling.
When the market goes haywire and you stack up wrong trades, stop for the day right away. Check again tomorrow—by then the market is often already clear. Only rational judgment can help you avoid traps.
Third, take profits once you’ve made money—lock it in.
The numbers in your account aren’t money. Every time you profit, withdraw half and put it in your pocket—the part that’s actually in your pocket is real.
Fourth, only trade trends—don’t touch ranges.
With high leverage, trends amplify profit, but ranges turn it into a meat grinder. If the trend is clear, enter. If it’s unclear, just wait to death.
Fifth, keep position size small—don’t let it control your emotions.
High leverage can make quick money, but surviving long-term depends on position control. Enter each time with only a small amount—so you’re never bound and dictated by your position.
These aren’t insights you wake up with overnight. They’re rules bought through losses, one time after another.
No matter whether you’re a beginner or an experienced trader, set your own hard-and-fast life-preserving rules—only then can you go far on this uncertain road.
Remember: stay alive, and you’ll earn the right to win. #btc #eth
