1. Current trend assessment
- From Monday to Tuesday to Wednesday, gold prices showed a sustained rebound upward, with lows moving higher and highs repeatedly breaking through, making the overall rebound trend clear.
- Last Friday, gold prices dipped to 3960. After dipping to 3980 on Monday, they rebounded to 4040. On Tuesday, after dipping near 4000, during the European session yesterday they broke through 4040, the key watershed level. They rebounded to the 4080-4100 area. In the early hours, they closed at the high around 4077, ending the move strongly.
2. Today’s market outlook
- Today’s Asian session (before 11:00 AM) may see accelerated upside, continuing the upward momentum from last night’s US session, with targets in the 4100-4120 area.
- If the Asian session rises strongly and the European session extends the uptrend, the pullback before the US session still has room to rise; if the European session performs strongly, then after the late-session pullback confirmation, it should continue higher as well.
3. Trading reference approach
- Prioritize waiting for price to adjust to key support levels before setting up long positions, when the profit potential is greater.
- If the price does not adjust and instead rises strongly, you can follow with long positions when the pullback is confirmed before the US session.
- Around 4100 is the daily resistance zone. It’s not advisable to chase. Only if 4100 is effectively broken and price holds above it, should you consider further upside space.
- If the price breaks down below 4000, this rebound would come to an end.
4. Risk warning
- Financial products involve risk; invest cautiously. The above is only my personal view and does not constitute any investment advice.$XAUUSD
