US Defense Secretary: The Iran war has already cost $37.5B

Jinse Finance reported that on July 22, U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth said that the war with Iran to date has cost $37.5 billion, higher than the estimate previously released. That day, Hegseth testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee in support of a $95 billion budget proposal put forward by the Republicans. In addition to military spending, the proposal also includes agricultural aid and election-law adjustments prioritized by the White House.
